Nordic Congress of Ophthalmology (NOK) – 8. – 12. June, 2016
Dear colleagues,
The NOK2016 Congress will be the perfect opportunity to interact with the Nordic Ophthalmologists, nurses, and hospital affiliated optometrists during the days in Aarhus.
The venue – The Concert Hall Aarhus – is a very large house and covers more than 35,000 square meters, making it the largest Concert Hall in Northern Europe. The venue hosts several musical events, but it is also the venue for large-scale meetings and events. The Concert Hall is located next to the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum and the City Hall, and it is within walking distance of most of the congress hotels.
Programme and information
The Congress is expected to draw around 1.000 delegates. At NOK2014 in Sweden 41 nations visited the congress. Hopefully we will welcome the same number in Denmark. The scientific programme will be very broad and didactic and will among other topics include updates on anti-angiogenic therapy for retinal disease, modern cataract surgery, glaucoma updates, corneal and refractive surgery, biological treatments for uveitis, and treatment of ocular traumas.
Sponsorship / Exhibition
A range of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities have been created to allow each company to showcase their organization as best suits their needs and budget. Participating companies will receive the highest recognition in return for their support.
Platinum sponsorship Package – DKK 105.000 (plus VAT 25%)
• Sponsorship of a lunch symposium of 45 minutes. The programme including speakers and titles of presentations will be posted on the congress website in advance.
Room rental and standard technique will be provided during the symposium; projector, screen and microphones. One technician will be available.
• 1/1 page advert in the final programme (high resolution format provided by the sponsor)
• Discount on exhibition stand space fee (DKK 2.150 rather than DKK 3.750 per sq. ) and the possibility to select space first. (If more than one Platinum Sponsor, it is first-come first-serve.)
• 6 free full delegate registrations
• 2 invitations to the Presidents Dinner
• One free insert. The insert may be advertising invitation or company message and will be inserted into the congress bag on your behalf by the organizers.
• Company logo on the congress bag and the possibility to sponsor the bags.
Gold sponsorship package – DKK 75.000 (plus VAT 25%)
• Sponsorship of a morning or evening symposium of 30 minutes. The programme including speakers and titles of presentations will be posted on the congress website in advance.
Room rental and standard technique will be provided during the symposium; projector, screen and microphones. One technician will be available.
• 1/2 page advert in the final programme (high resolution format provided by the sponsor)
• Discount on exhibition stand space fee (DKK 2.150 rather than DKK 3.750 per sq. ) and the possibility to select space secondly (once the Platinum sponsor(s) have confirmed (If more than one Gold Sponsor, it is first-come first- serve.)
• 3 free full delegate registrations
• 2 invitations to the Presidents Dinner
Additional sponsorship items
A number of items are also available for sponsorships as addition to the mail sponsor package. Please note that the below sponsorship items are available on a first-come first-served basis.
Lanyards – DKK 12.500 + production cost
The lanyard is handed out to all registered delegates together with the name badge.
Notepad and pens – DKK 12.500 + production cost
The material will be packed into the Congress bag and will be given to all registered delegates upon arrival at the congress.
Congress bag insert – DKK 8.000 + production cost (included in the Platinum package)
Your company may have a flyer / A4 page or similar insert. The insert may be advertising invitation or company message and will be inserted into the congress bag on your behalf by the organizers.
Congress bag (for platinum sponsors only) – Included in the Platinum Sponsorship
The congress bag will be given to all registered delegates and will include all congress material, including the final programme.
Exhibition only (floor space)
Price for floor space is DKK 3.750 per square meter excluding VAT (discount for Platinum and Gold Sponsors). Please note that floor space, only, is included in the price. The exhibition area is located in the heart of the venue – in the foyer and at the balconies at The Concert Hall, Aarhus. It will include exhibition, catering and lounge areas.
